An excellent classic or period rapier's sword maintains all its original elements: fitting, hilt and pommel and, in addition, it is equipped with such a perfect balance that it makes it much faster in the hand. The balance point of a rapier's sword is generally about four fingers from the guard.
This Rapier sword is a replica of an original from the Hank Reinhardt Collection and displays one of the most graceful and sublime designs in a period when no two swords were made exactly alike. It is light, fast and exquisitely beautiful. Made with a high carbon steel blade. Sheath included. The exceptional design of the grip is truly a work of art and was used for hundreds of years.
