The Sword is the symbol of Honor, Courage and Dignity, these virtues that should distinguish the Freemason. No Mason is considered invested with his different hierarchies if he has not first solemnly taken the ritual oath before the symbol of honor and dignity: the SWORD.
The sword of the Masonic lodge, in addition to symbolizing honor and courage, is the insignia of power and command, for which reason each brother must possess his own, during the ceremonies of the Lodges, in which case they are constantly reminded of the duty they have to protect and protect themselves, against oppression and tyranny.
The Masonic sword is also an allegory of the Law, but of that which is based on the exercise of the purest reason, to distinguish words, actions and deeds, that is, it can be applied under the level of the same plane and under the concepts of the strictest equality.
We present a video that shows these swords of the Masonic Lodge very well:
