The two-handed Chinese sword Jian, forged in steel, had some difficulty in being wielded, since due to its large dimensions it was more difficult to control, so a necessary skill was required to learn and exercise correctly in its use.

A Jian greatsword was of the highest quality, the handling of this sword was seen as a way to seek the inner warrior and connect with the path of the sword. Throughout its history the Jian sword has been used in the most difficult styles of Chinese martial arts, so it was not as popular as the one-handed Jian sword.

This Jian Swallow greatsword (translated from English swallow) has brass finishes providing a perfect complement to the resistant handle and scabbard that are made of fiberglass with a red wood finish.
