The Krieg Messer sword was a greatsword used in Europe, in the 14th century, it was a curved two-handed saber, used as a stanchion for mercenaries, or for cavalry.
This German saber, which means war knife, was a tremendous weapon, with an elongated curved blade with a slight, not so prominent arc. The guards of the Krieg Messer sabers have horizontal rings, to protect the hands and fingers, straight rests and handguards up to the pommel.
