The Valsgarde helmet is one of the most recognizable pieces of Scandinavian warrior tradition. This historical reproduction recreates the appearance of the helmets found in the boat graves of Valsgarde, near Uppsala, combining a steel structure with decorative bands, brass fittings, and a distinctive nasal protection. Its abundant Nordic-inspired ornamentation gives it a unique character associated with high-ranking warriors.

The piece is designed as a usable collectible and fits head circumferences of up to approximately 57 cm. The rounded cap includes a leather interior lining and a chin strap, while the long mail protection covers the sides and back of the head. Its 8 mm diameter blackened steel rings contrast with the decorative bronze elements and reinforce its marked historical appearance.

Valsgarde is one of the most prominent archaeological sites of the Nordic Iron Age. Its boat burials, dated between the 5th and 11th centuries, have provided richly decorated helmets and other items linked to the Vendel and Viking traditions. Weighing approximately 3.1 kg and featuring a 18 cm mail extension, this helmet is particularly appealing for historical reenactment, collecting, and settings inspired by medieval Scandinavia.
