Its design is inspired by the executioners used by soldiers and knights in Europe between the 11th and 15th centuries, and it can be worn under various medieval helmets. The chainmail is made from 16-gauge mild steel rings with an interior diameter of 10 mm. Its linked ring format provides flexibility and encourages airflow, while the thickness of the wire ensures durability with a manageable weight. The zinc polished finish offers a clean, shiny surface and does not require regular oiling, making maintenance easier.

The set includes a three-layer padded coif, with an exterior made from 100% cotton and filled with recycled fibers.
