Description
This clay wick holder for bottles comes with a cotton wick and allows you to transform an empty bottle into a decorative oil lamp for outdoor use. It's a practical proposal to reuse containers such as wine, mead, liquor, or other beverages, creating ambient lighting in gardens, balconies, terraces, medieval markets, reenactments, or LARP events.
The piece rests on the mouth of the bottle while its neck is inserted inside to keep the wick in place. It does not function as a cork or stopper, so it’s advisable to check beforehand that the bottle opening meets the specified compatibility. Preparation requires threading the wick through the holder, filling the bottle with oil, and waiting until the cotton is fully soaked before lighting. The bottle and fuel are not included with the product. Specifications may vary slightly between pieces.
For optimal use, the supplier recommends vegetable oils or organic lamp oil and discourages conventional synthetic oils, kerosene, and paraffin. The wick should protrude only slightly. Use the lamp on a stable, level, and fireproof surface, with a heat-resistant coaster and away from flammable materials. Never leave it unattended when lit and keep it out of reach and sight of children when not in use.
